Dr. Chih Kai (Kevin) Yang is a family physician certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the American Board of Family Medicine. He completed family medicine residency training in the United States at Trinity Health and served as Chief Resident.
His focused experience in musculoskeletal medicine, sports medicine, point-of-care ultrasound, and ultrasound-guided procedures has developed through continuing medical education, independent study, and ongoing clinical practice. He is not described as fellowship-trained, and no pending examination is presented as a completed credential.

Current clinical affiliation: Dr. Yang provides clinical services as an independent contractor at One Medical Clinic, 901 Lougheed Hwy, Unit 205, Coquitlam, BC V3K 0J3. The clinic is not owned or operated by Dr. Yang. He is on parental leave and expects to return to clinical practice in October 17, 2026.
Scope: Dr. Yang treats selected shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, hip, ankle, foot, trigger finger, localized muscular trigger-point concerns, and acute sports injuries. He manages concussion, although it is not a primary advertised service. He does not provide definitive fracture care; suspected fractures may receive initial assessment and appropriate management before orthopedic referral. He does not treat spinal conditions or chronic back pain.
