Dr. Kevin Yang is a family medicine physician with a focused interest in musculoskeletal and regenerative medicine. He completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of British Columbia before earning his medical degree at the University of Queensland in Australia. He completed his family medicine residency at Trinity Health in Michigan, where he was elected Chief Resident and honoured with awards for Best Senior Resident and Best Resident Teacher of the Year.
His academic work has been published in Arthritis Research & Therapy and the Journal of the American Academy of Family Physicians, with research focused on joint conditions and soft tissue injuries - areas that remain central to his clinical practice today.
Dr. Yang is board certified in family medicine through both the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP), and is licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. Driven by a desire to offer his patients more than conventional care, he pursued advanced hands-on training in ultrasound-guided injections and regenerative medicine in the United States - developing practical expertise in PRP, prolotherapy, and image-guided procedures for joint pain and soft tissue injuries.
He currently practices in Vancouver, BC, where he sees a focused patient panel and takes pride in giving each person the time and attention their care deserves.
